Ceramic Hair Straighteners

GHD ceramic straighteners are available in three models: Professional, Salon Styler and Mini Styler. Each of the three models have ceramic heat plates and coupled with the built-in microprocessor these straighteners conduct heat fast and retain it more effectively. As the name suggests the Professional is the choice of stylists. The Salon Styler features wider plates enabling you to quickly work through larger sections of hair which makes it ideal for thicker or heavier hair such as Afro Caribbean. The Mini Styler features a smaller, curved barrel that makes it ideal for short hair or use by men.

GHD's come with a standard UK 3 pin plug, 230 Volt. A power adapter is available to buy for use overseas - ideal for non UK buyers and UK holidays makers too.

All the straighteners have a long, swivel power cord giving long reach and easy control.

Hot or Not ?

Hot. Very hot. Very quick! GHD's go from stone cold to controlled, red hot, in seconds. Switch them on, wait less than a minute for the little red LED to stop flashing and then style and straighten to suit. GHD straighteners simply get hot and stay hot! The ceramic heating technology in the straighteners allows for very high temperatures - in excess of 200 Celsius and it's reached within seconds - and this temperature is maintained due to the microprocessor technology. The irons contain ceramic heaters which are the same size as the plates and ensure that the plates are heated evenly, meaning there are no hot spots. The high operating temperature and the non stick ceramic coated plates of the GHD's means no snagging and excessive moisture removal giving a professional look and feel with great sheen and straightness that can last days.
